HELENA — All the scoring came in the first half as Helena High handed Flathead its first loss of the Class AA boys soccer season with a 3-0 setback on Friday.

Flathead (4-1 overall, 2-1 Western AA) did not have a shot on goal in the match.

“We didn’t wake up from the bus (trip),” Flathead coach Zach Brenneman said. “We started very flat. It was more mental breakdowns on our part than a talent issue.”
