A group of distressed kids called Kalispell Police when a cat reportedly got its foot caught in a mousetrap and then hid out of reach under a porch. The kids told police the cat appeared to be in a lot of pain but was too freaked out to let the kids near it to remove the trap. Police informed the kids the cat would most likely come out when things settled down.

Two men wearing backward baseball caps reportedly took their Harleys off-roading at Woodland Park, where they were allegedly seen riding their motorcycles on the bike path through the park.

A liquor store employee reported a robbery, stating two men wearing baggy hoodies sneaked in under a gate, grabbed two bottles of liquor and fled the scene.

A woman reported finding an injured hamster in her garage and called 911 with questions as to what to do with it.

A group of around 12 dirt bikers were reportedly seen driving recklessly through town, running multiple red lights and nearly hitting at least one vehicle.

A woman and her grandchildren reportedly found a stray ferret in Woodland Park. The children reportedly saw an older man bend down to pet it but it allegedly bit him. No one caught or contained the ferret.

A couple reportedly gave a ride to a transient woman holding a suggestive sign. The couple stated that, after dropping the woman off at her requested destination, they discovered that one of their cellphones was missing.

Two people reportedly fled the scene after getting a vehicle stuck in someone’s yard. The vehicle was later reportedly found to have fictitious plates.

A woman reported finding a strange bald man sitting on her porch talking to himself. When the woman threatened to call police, the man allegedly said, “That’s OK. We can be friends,” and rode away on a bike.

A man reported a break-in after finding a deadbolt sitting beside the microwave and damage to the locks on the door. The man claimed to have been house sitting for his parents and said he would have been home when the damage occurred but heard nothing. The man said he found nothing missing from the home.

Someone reportedly witnessed a group of juveniles throwing eggs from their vehicles at pedestrians, hitting many of them, according to a Flathead County Sheriff’s report. The witness allegedly followed the suspects, feeding dispatch information about the vehicle until they lost sight of the alleged egg throwers. The witness did find an empty egg carton.
