Granny reprimanded for unwanted goody giving

A man reported his mother-in-law to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office for delivering unwanted groceries to his children during his week of custody. The mother-in-law was informed of the man’s report and agreed not to bring goodies to her grandkids while they were with their father anymore.

Two horses reportedly escaped their fence and headed out for a stroll down Farm to Market Road. According to a witness, the horses took their coats with them for the chilly weather but were corralled in a neighboring yard not long into their walk.

A man reportedly received multiple threatening phone calls from what he believed was a wrong number. The caller identified himself but the man said he had no idea who he was. Officers traced the call back to a hospital where the unknown caller was allegedly being held under security.

A couple reportedly stole an underwater camera and attempted to pawn it at a local pawnshop. The couple was reportedly turned away and then turned in by the pawn shop employee, who offered photos and video footage of the suspect to police.

Someone reportedly vandalized a basketball court on Sweetgrass Lane by throwing rocks at the basketball hoop and littering the court with broken glass.

A man was reportedly assaulted in the parking lot of a ski resort. According to his report, he and a friend were approached and attacked by two people who had been sitting in their car, smoking weed when an argument broke out. The assailant allegedly body slammed and head-butted the reporting party before driving to another parking lot, parking and going up the mountain for a day of snowboarding.

Someone reported having a package containing “battery powered slippers” delivered and then stolen from their home on Mission Way.

A couple reported a man for allegedly giving their 15-year-old son alcohol, consequently landing the teen in the hospital for alcohol consumption.

A woman was reportedly attacked and bitten by three dogs running loose on Elk Park Road.

An unloaded shotgun was reportedly stolen from an unlocked car parked off U.S. 2 overnight.

An elderly couple called the police to request assistance in getting their adult daughter into her bed after she allegedly passed out on their kitchen floor drunk.

Three juveniles were reportedly playing chicken on the railroad tracks near Sunrise Terrace, allegedly forcing a train to go into emergency braking mode and nearly costing the kids their lives. The kids were not caught and disappeared after running into a nearby trailer park.

A man described as acting “methed out” was seen swinging a bat near someone’s car in the middle of the night.
