Connie Joann Gage, 72

Connie Joann Gage, 72, of Whitefish, left us on Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2018, peacefully, surrounded by family.

She was born Nov. 15, 1945, to Morris and Eileen (Mitchell) Murphy Schulstad in Bremerton, Washington.

She married Richard Gage on May 26, 1978, until his passing in 2014.

Connie lived most of her life in Whitefish and worked at Grouse Mountain Lodge for about 25 years. Connie was a member of the Kingdom Hall in Whitefish and looked forward to attending meetings and going out in service. She loved nature and enjoyed watching and feeding wild birds, deer, and working in her flower beds when she could. She was interested in history and genealogy. She loved fishing and hearing about how her kids and grandkids were doing.

She is survived by her four children, Stoney Shipp, Laurie (Greg) Timmons, Charlie Shipp, and Geri (David) Thamm; her sister, Cheryl (Marlo) Dull; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and friends.

Connie was preceded in passing by her husband of 36 years, Richard Gage; her parents; and her brother, Larry Murphy.

A memorial will be held at 2 p.m. on April 21at the Whitefish Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
