Two of the three foreigner visitors who went missing at a lake near Cut Bank had not been found, but the body of one was recovered Tuesday, Nov. 25.

The Glacier County Sheriff’s Office reported that the body of 63-year-old Kazuhiko Hayashizaki was recovered from Mission Lake.

Hayashizaki, another Canadian and a woman from Japan were reported missing Sunday, Nov. 23, after they failed to return from a weekend fishing trip. Officers found their vehicle at the lake on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation.

Authorities suspect the three either went through the ice or were blown into open water on Saturday when winds were gusting up to 55 mph. It’s unclear if they were on a boat.

Plans called for a dive team to resume searching for 75-year-old Fuki Nishibayashi, of Japan, and 56-year-old Danny Heland, of Canada.
