Our votes count, so people must pay attention

| October 30, 2008 11:00 PM

Obama is articulate. He is charismatic. He talks a good talk. But please don't cast your vote for this impostor. Don't ignore his close relationship with Reverend Wright.

Remember, Reverend Wright? He is the "pastor" who guided Obama into the Christian faith — Obama's mentor. He is the preacher who married Michelle and Barack Obama. He is the man who christened their children.

Obama spent 20 years in this radical, racist's church but claims he didn't know he was an anti-American, anti-white radical. Excuse me? And please check out his association with Reverend Michael Pfleger, another hate-monger. (I use the title "Reverend" lightly.)

Don't ignore the fact that Obama's political career was launched in the living room of unrepentant-terrorist Bill Ayers. Please, don't ignore his connection to Tony Rezko and Louis Farrakhan. All these people will most definitely be casting their vote for Obama.

Obama's running mate, Joe Biden, declared that Obama would face an international crisis during his first six months in office (should he be elected), and that his supporters would need to stand behind him because he (Obama) would probably not have the right response. Excuse me, again?

Obama was not so articulate or suave when he answered Joe the Plumber, telling him that, as our President, he would "spread the wealth." Obama responded with his "truth." Is this the "truth" of a democracy?

It will be argued to the end of time whether or not the U.S. should have gone into Iraq. Please note: We have wiped out an evil dictator who killed hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqi people.

Today, the country is being stabilized and the promise of democracy is within reach. The surge is working. The vast majority of our troops are casting their votes for McCain. Does this not speak for itself?

Obama doesn't know or doesn't care that as an American, we place our right hand over our heart and face our flag when we pledge allegiance to our great country. Obama's actions, or lack of them, speak volumes about who he really is. Four of 38 Democratic senators who voted against making English the official language of America are Clinton, Dodd, Biden and Obama.

Barrack Obama's ties to ACORN run long and deep. ACORN is currently being investigated for massive voter fraud across the country.

Please don't be so shortsighted as to believe that the Bush administration alone is responsible for our financial crisis and economic woes. The Democrats took control of the House and Senate on Jan. 4, 2007. A long history of greed and dishonesty led us to where we are today, and it was a hugely bipartisan effort.

The "change" Obama is promising is not the change we want and need for America. Vote McCain/Palin on Nov. 4. Vote Republican.
