Kenneth Henry Pruett of Columbia Falls, 91, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 25, 2018, in Kalispell.

He was born in Bliss, Idaho, on Aug. 7, 1926, to Henry Barton and Elva Rosella (Stratton) Pruett, and was the second to the oldest of 12 children.

Ken married Bonnie Maxine Eby on May 13, 1954. Bonnie had three children he considered as his own. Together they had three children.

Ken was someone we could all strive to be like. He was a very hardworking, honest, sensitive World War II Navy veteran and an old cowboy at heart. It was very important to him to keep close contact with everyone he loved. He will be missed by many.

He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Bonnie Rae Trammel, Mykell Winterowd, Teresa (Cory) Hartley, Starla (Mike) Saucier and Monty (Nonie) Pruett. Ken will also be fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Sonja, Stacy, Stephanie, Schele, Kris, Mark, Miken, Steve, Monty, Amber, Michael, Vanessa, Dan, Michele and Casey; 18 great-grandchildren; brothers, Jack (Chela), Marvin (Deanna), and HB (Rena); and sisters, Ramona (Bruce) Lindsey, and Juanita (Lee) Wisdom.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie; brothers, Curt, Delbert, Bill and Melvin, sisters, Betty Smithson and Lou Johnson; stepson, Steve Gillies; and grandson, Taylor Saucier.

A funeral service in memory of Ken will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 3, at Columbia Falls Mortuary, 1010 Fourth Ave. W., Columbia Falls. A gathering will follow at the Dew Drop Inn, 10750 Hwy. 2, Coram, with military honors at 4:30 p.m.
