Computer access now available at local ImagineIf Libraries

| June 10, 2020 1:00 AM

Following guidance from the Flathead City/County Health Department, ImagineIF Libraries opened their doors last month offering new open hours. Enhanced safety measures are in place to protect the welfare of staff and customers including social distancing signage and floor markings, quarantining books and other materials, and frequently sanitizing high touch surfaces.

ImagineIF is now offering computer use sessions at each location. Patrons can sign up for a 30-minute session once a day and enjoy free access to the internet and printing services. To guarantee a computer will be available, patrons should call ahead to book a 30-minute time slot. Only one booking may be made at a time. Computers are separated by plexiglass barriers and will be sanitized by library staff between 30-minute appointments. Patrons are encouraged to wear masks and to use hand sanitizer before and after using the computer. Each library location is also set up with 30-minute stations for personal device use, such as a laptop or tablet. The Kalispell location additionally features two 20-minute computer stations with printing capability that do not require an appointment. All printing fees are currently being waived.
