Whitefish spiker Moore signs with UM-Western

DILLON – Outside hitter Kaiah Moore of Whitefish is among three players that signed letters of intent to play volleyball for University of Montana-Western, Bulldogs coach Katie Lovett announced.

Moore, who is 5-foot-88, was first-team All-State as a senior for Whitefish, piling up 286 kills and 340 digs.

“We are very excited to have Kaiah on our roster next year,” Lovett said. “Her athleticism and competitive drive are standout attributes. She brings depth to our offense and will be able to contribute on the defensive end as well. She has a no-quit attitude and will do whatever it takes to elevate her play.”

UM-Western also signed Abbey Shwager, a 5-8 setter out of Boise, Idaho, and Peyton Vogl, a 6-0 middle blocker/outside hitter from Townsend, where she was All-State for Class B as s senior.
