| September 29, 2019 2:00 AM

A woman told the Whitefish Police Department she believed she “found human remains while running away from a gang in Los Angeles” and claimed she still had the remains in her possession. She believed she had spoken to a police officer at a bar, but she didn’t have a cell phone because she alleged it was stolen at a pizza joint.

Someone was concerned a truck driver was “using the park as a toilet.” The truck departed before the police arrived.

Someone managed to call the police accidentally when he thought he had an incoming call.

A woman called the police because she saw the front door of a house open while she was walking her dog. It turned out the homeowners were “just moving in.”

A parent complained to the police about loud drivers revving their engines waking up his children during their naps. The father had apparently asked them not to make so much noise when they drive by, but the drivers had not complied.

A loose dog wearing a purple bandana apparently ran straight to the dog food aisle in a store and an employee told the police she was trying to figure out how to get the dog to the WPD.

Someone in a casino asked for officers to walk through the establishment because she said there were “a few sketchy people there.” She was concerned because one woman in particular was “drinking very fast” and was told to slow down.

Someone accidentally called 911 because his smart watch “made an unusual sound.”

A Whitefish caller was “upset about the speed of logging trucks and dump trucks coming into town.”

A disgruntled construction site worker told the police of a suspected person sleeping in an abandoned building and also “chased off school kids” from the property.

An apartment dweller was concerned about his neighbor’s “expensive-looking table.”

Someone saw a black bear in the proximity of two young girls and was concerned for the children’s safety. The caller said she had also “already stopped an elderly person with a walker” who was in the area of the bear.

The director of a preschool called the police because she was concerned a child’s recently-incarcerated father might somehow show up to the school to pick up the child.

A man told the police his flowers had been “yanked up and strewn all over.”

A man was seen “shedding clothes” and wandering around near train tracks. A concerned caller wanted him to be removed so a train didn’t hit him.
