Whitefish's Kahle, Shaw finish 2nd at Frenchtown golf
FRENCHTOWN — Tristan Hanson of Hamilton and Macee Greenwood of Corvallis were the medalists on Wednesday at Frenchtown Invitational golf tournament at the Ranch Club Golf Course.
Hanson topped the boys field with a 71, finishing four shots ahead of Cameron Kahle of Whitefish.
Johnny Nix of Whitefish and Trey Kelley of Polson both shot 79, along with Tanner Hanson of Hamilton. Those three were tied for fourth place.
Tyler Langton of Columbia Falls turned in an 80.
Hamilton, with three golfers in the Top 10, took the team title with a 313 score.
Whitefish, 332, was second.
Greenwood shot a 76 to easily claim the top spot. Ella Shaw of Whitefish was second and 10 shots behind.
Whitefish’s Kendal Reed, 90, Anyah Cripe, 98, and Megan Archibald, 99, were Top 10 scorers along with Ellie Thiel of Polson with a 91 and Kylee Niemeyer of Ronan with a 99.
Corvallis, 370, edged Whitefish, 373, for the team title.
