$30k lottery ticket sold in Bigfork

A Bigfork woman claimed a top prize this month in the Montana Lottery.

Vanessa Gibson won $30,000 on Oct. 7 playing Monopoly Bingo. Gibson bought her winning ticket at Bigfork Harvest Foods.

Her prize is among $64,607 awarded by the lottery since Oct. 3.

Other winners include: Ann Leveque of Laurel won $15,890 playing Big Sky Bonus; Patricia Fenlon of Havre won $14,000 playing The $14,000 Montana Crossword.

The Montana Lottery was created by referendum in 1986. Since then, it has paid over $590 million in prizes and returned approximately $259 million to the State of Montana.
