Motel housekeeping found a bunch of mail, a smashed up laptop and a man sleeping in the bed while trying to clean the room, according to Kalispell Police Department logs. The mail was collected and returned to the post office. The man put his belongings into a garbage bag and moved along.

$13 worth of beef jerky and other items were reportedly stolen by an older woman driving a Dodge with a Steelers logo on the front.

A suspicious man dumped the contents of his backpack on a lawn. He told police he was just playing video games.

A verbal disturbance between a woman and her husband ended with the man declaring that he was going to walk the dog and sleep in the garage.

A caller thought it was suspicious that another woman was taking photos of her house. Extra patrol was requested.

A resident called the cops on a nicely dressed man who was asking “strange” questions. The man claimed he was with a financial company seeking new clients.

An ambulance responded to the scene of an alleged physical disturbance. A man reportedly hit a woman with his shoe and pushed her down. The man was booked into the county jail.

A breakup ended badly when the ex punched a hole through a wall while gathering his things to leave. The woman decided to change the locks on her house.

A suspected DUI driver in a white SUV reportedly side-swiped a utility pole. She was taken to the county jail.

A disorderly woman assured police that she would stay in her apartment and quiet down for the rest of the day.
