Woman in Yaak trapped under vehicle, dies

A woman died after becoming trapped under a vehicle at a private residence in Yaak early Sunday morning.

According to Trooper Eric Power with Montana Highway Patrol, the woman, who has not yet been identified, was outside the vehicle, when a man inside began attempting to rock the vehicle.

According to Power, alcohol had not yet been ruled out as a contributing factor, but no charges had yet resulted from the investigation.

Power said the cause of death was still under investigation, and no identifying information about either party involved was yet available Monday morning.
