The Whitefish Chamber of Commerce monthly “Lunch n’ Learn” brown-bag seminar series continues on Thursday, March 7, with a session led by Ted Echard of Stafford, a Whitefish-based digital marketing and consulting agency.

A second session has been added for the same time on Thursday, March 14.

The hour-long program will focus on developing a digital marketing strategy for your businesses.

Lunch n’ Learn seminars are free to Chamber members and $15 for non-members, but reservations are necessary. Seating is limited to the first 15 people to register. Call 862-3501 to register.

Seminars are held the first Thursday of each month from noon to 1:15 p.m. in the Chamber’s conference room. Bring your own lunch.

Local firms join German trade show

Four Flathead Valley businesses will be among those headed to Germany to promote their products at the IWA OutdoorClassics, March 8–11 in Nuremberg.

With help from the Montana Department of Commerce, Defiance Machine of Columbia Falls and Counter Assault Pepper Sprays, Montana Rifle Company and U.S. Optics of Kalispell will all be participating in the fair.

In 2017, Montana exports to Europe totaled $227 million, up from $180 million in 2016. More than 7 percent were miscellaneous manufactured commodities, which includes hunting and outdoor products.
