Festival of Art

Polson’s annual Flathead Lake Festival of Art takes place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Sacajawea Park. Admission is free.

The juried festival features more than 30 artists skilled in painting, jewelry, pottery photography, wood and more, along with live music.

Heritage Days

Heritage Days is in full swing in Columbia Falls this weekend.

Today

5:30 to 7:30 p.m. — Wildcat/Kat Athletic Endowment auction, the Coop. Cost is $10 per plate. Silent auction, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Live auction, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., followed by a social with a cash bar and dancing live music by Music On The Move.

7 p.m. — Open rodeo, 7 p.m. Blue Moon Arena

Saturday

7 a.m. — Firemen’s Breakfast, Don Anderson Fire Hall, 624 First Ave. W.

7:30 a.m. — Early check-in at Berube Physical Therapy for 3-on-3 basketball tournament. Contact Laura Gadwa at 892-2072 for more information.

1 to 6 p.m. — Arts, crafts, food vendors and Family Fun Day at Marantette Park

1:30 p.m. — Freedom Bank’s Wild Horse Drive on U.S. 2 from Columbia Heights to the Blue Moon.

4 to 6:30 p.m. — Falls Fest fundraiser by the Rotary Club, with music by the Barn Yard Riot, Marantette Park.

7 p.m. — Open rodeo, 7 p.m. Blue Moon Arena

7 to 9:45 p.m. — Falls Fest fundraiser by the Rotary Club, with music by The Brothers, Marantette Park.

Sunday — 19th annual WAEA Wildcat/Kat Athletic Endowment Golf Scramble. Shotgun start at 9 a.m., Glacier View Golf Course,West Glacier.

Potluck picnic

The Kalispell Senior Center hosts a potluck picnic from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Lawrence Park Pavilion. There will be music and games, with lunch at noon. Bring a dish to share. Water, plates and cutlery are supplied.

Families and friends are welcome.

Whitefish school reunion

The Whitefish High School second All Class Reunion is this weekend. A mixer is from 4 to 10 p.m. today at Memorial Field in Whitefish.

Saturday’s dinner and dance begin at 4 p.m.

Rummage sale

The annual Easthaven Baptist Church rummage sale continues through Saturday.

Hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. today, and 8 a.m. to noon Saturday. Items will be half price Saturday.

Antiques, books, clothing, crafts, electronics, furniture, housewares, sports and exercise equipment are for sale.

Proceeds benefit former cancer patient Amy Glanvill, Fresh Water Wells in India and a new addition to the church building.

Superhero Fun Day

CASA for Kids hosts a Superhero Fun Day from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at Flathead Lake Lodge in Bigfork. Admission is free.

The family-friendly event features food, music, face painting, bounce houses, a rock climbing wall, a dunk tank and more.

Come dressed as your favorite superhero, or invent one. There will be a Superhero Costume Contest at 2 p.m., with prizes for children and adults. Special guests include firefighters, police officers, hospital workers, nurses and more.

Kickball event
