Joyce (Strassburg) Bansch, 82

Joyce (Strassburg) Bansch left this earth May 17, 2019, while at a hospital in Indianapolis and surrounded by her family, Pam Dickenson (Jim) and Paula Bansch.

Joyce was born April 5, 1937, to Rudolph and Catherine (Lyford) Strassburg and lived in Kalispell until going to the University of Montana to pursue a career in nursing. While in Missoula she met her husband, John Bansch. Joyce spent the majority of her life in the Indianapolis area where she stretched her time to include caring both for others as well as her family.

Joyce was a great cook, valued friend, practicing Christian and awesome gardener.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, as well as her Lyford cousins, Wilbur, Robert and Ronald, and is survived by her immediate family in Indianapolis, Jerry and Gail Lyford, and Lois Lyford of Kalispell, and nieces, nephews and cousins of Lyford, Dern and Strassburg lineage.
