Slow car-washer angers waiting man

A man with anger-management issues reportedly asked a woman how long she was going to take at a car wash and she replied “as long as it takes,” to which he responded by spitting at her and calling her a derogatory term. He reportedly drove off heading eastbound in a blue vehicle on U.S. 2 when she called Kalsipell Police Department.

Someone who locked themselves in a bathroom to call police said a girl was allegedly brandishing a kitchen knife at her family and threatening to attack them. She was later dropped off with her grandmother.

Someone reported their truck had been hit and the mirror broken off while at the Department of Motor Vehicles.

A man who wanted peace and quiet reportedly knocked on the wall of his noisy neighbors and called police when three men showed up outside his door on Appleway Drive saying they were going to beat him. One of them may have also threatened and made obscene statements at his sister in the hallway. He was concerned they might damage his vehicle in retaliation.

Someone’s “baby daddy” was reportedly refusing to give the child back and claimed he wanted to take the child out of state. He had not followed a parenting plan for more than four years.

Someone waited at least two weeks to call police and report a pickup that was “sitting there” and being “a hazard”. The caller refused to give their last name and complained about “everyone having to move and this one not moving.” A wrecker was called as the truck appeared abandoned and the interior gutted.

Dispatchers attempted to call back a number that dialed 911, however, they got an automated message that the number was not in service.

Someone claiming to be a church board member wanted police to check on the welfare of whoever owned a bedroll that was at the front door of the church. They didn’t want the person removed, just checked on to make sure they were warm.

Someone wanted advice from police about their 90-year-old father who wanted to drive but was reportedly advised not to by a doctor. A sibling took the vehicle and now the father was saying he would report the vehicle stolen.
