Allen was born on Sept. 5, 1929, in North Dakota to Ingvald and Amanda Skare.

Allen is survived by his children Sharon Skare of Kalispell, Daniel Skare of Wichita, Kansas, Francie Skare of Kalispell, David Skare of Kalispell and Becky Skare of Kalispell.
