Roomie relationship folds over corn tortillas

A U.S. 93 resident in Kalispell reportedly wanted Flathead County Sheriff’s Office to assist in removing a woman from his house, where she had been living for a couple of months, because she was “making him mad.” The fight was reportedly over corn tortillas and her “taking things out of the freezer.” The man reportedly said he had a temper and she has been “pushing his buttons,” so she needed to leave before he did “something he shouldn’t.” The parties were calm and agreed to get along for the night.

A man on Beach Road in Bigfork called 911 and when asked if he needed police, fire, or medical assistance, he started talking about the neighbor’s curtains being open and wanting an officer to respond.

Someone claiming to be with Adult Protective Services reported a woman on Conrad Drive in Kalispell was taken to the hospital and put into intensive care following alleged elder abuse and severe neglect.

A school bus went off Somers Road and all passengers were reportedly transferred safely to another bus.

A man was allegedly seen “bashing” a car with a shovel on Commerce Street in Bigfork, however, the person calling in the incident said they received the information third-hand. Then, it was reported that a shirtless teen was fighting with his father in the street with the shovel cast aside in the snow. The caller then heard a “hammering” noise in an apartment and a man and woman arguing. The man may have been intoxicated and possibly brandished a weapon during the fight with the youth.

A board of directors met with a homeowners association that supposedly got out of hand when a man became disorderly and threw items and cursed a woman on Sky Ranch Circle in Kalispell, a woman reportedly told deputies. She called with questions about the incident and wanted it documented in case the behavior escalated.

A man on U.S. 93 in Kalispell alleged he was assaulted by a man named “Boots.” The man did not want to file a complaint against Boots, he just wanted it logged for information. He then purportedly wanted a deputy to call him about getting a copy of the report to get unemployment because of a “hostile work environment.”

An altercation between a father and his 14-year-old reportedly resulted in the father being injured on U.S. 2 in Columbia Falls.

A passerby on Main Street in Kalispell was concerned after supposedly hearing “blood-curdling” screaming inside a white van that she thought could have sounded like “I am going to kill you.”

A woman on Helena Flats Road told officers her boyfriend allegedly stole her vehicle and wrecked it then started screaming a man’s name, became faint and stopped talking.

Someone on Fourth Avenue in Kalispell reported watching a man wearing a blue coat and beanie breaking into a facility on surveillance video. The man allegedly was in a crawl space using a crowbar to tear open plywood and get into the mechanical room.

A resident on Spotted Bear Road in Martin City told deputies they heard a loud explosion coming from the Hungry Horse area that allegedly shook their house.

A woman allegedly stole a cart full of merchandise and proceeded to leave in an older red Jeep Cherokee, hitting a security employee in the hip in the process.

In another call, a store told Kalispell Police Department a man and woman reportedly stuffed items in a mailbox and appeared to go pay for the mailbox, but not the items and attempted to exit the store. An employee stopped them in a garden center, but they were not cooperative. An employee had restrained the man, who supposedly yelled and fought when the woman took off running. Both were cited and released.

A semi truck with unloading cars at a dealership was seen blocking a lane of traffic without its lights or hazards on.

A woman who saw two spots of black on a snowbank told police she thought they might be dogs caught in it. The spots however, didn’t appear to be dogs, just dots.

A disorderly 10-year-old student was sent home to their parents.
