Mary Ann Bowen Crismore, 83

Mary Ann Bowen Crismore, 83, of Tucson, Arizona, was delivered into the arms of her heavenly Father on Easter Sunday morning, April 21, 2019.

Mary was born on March 9, 1936, to John H. and Phila M. Schmid Bowen in Milan, Indiana. In 1954, she graduated from Charlestown High School in Charlestown, Indiana, and in 1957 received her registered nursing degree from St. Joseph’s Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.

She married John Crismore in 1958 and they had three daughters, Rachel, Nancy and Jennie.

Mary was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Charlestown.

After retiring in 1985 John and Mary moved to live near Glacier National Park in Bigfork, and in 2012 they relocated to Tucson.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, brothers John (infant), James, and Robert Bowen.

She is survived by her husband, John; daughters and sons-in-law, Rachel and Larry Lanier, Nancy and Bill Fratt, Jennie Crismore and David Swindell; grandchildren, Alex and Malissa Lyle, Christan Money, David Crismore, Scott Money, Gwendolyn Fratt, and Paul and Ashleigh Lanier; great-grandchildren, Josiah, Lily and Matilda Crismore, Emma and Logan Lanier; brother and sister-in-law, John and Jeanie Bowen; sister, Marjorie Pieper; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at a later time in Montana.
