A single-story residential trailer was gutted by a fire Sunday evening in Bigfork on Highway 83, according to information from the Flathead County Sherif’s Department.

The trailer, which was in the process of being demolished, was vacant at the time.

According to Bigfork Fire Department Chief Mark Thiry, the cause of the blaze was due to a ditch line fire that got out of control and spread to the trailer.

He reported there were no injuries.

Firefighters, including those from Creston and Ferndale, were on the scene for about two hours.

An individual who lives next to a gun range on Belterra Lane in Bigfork reported a man was allegedly using automatic guns and explosives near her residence while it is under construction. The person reportedly heard richoted bullets, didn’t feel safe and was told the gun range was not public, but the man had business cards that advertises the range.

A person called to report a dog was chasing geese in Kalispell.

Someone reported the theft of some tools from a shop sometime over the winter at a location on Highway 2 in Hungry Horse.

A person called to complain about noise from two idling tractor trailers in a parking lot at a business on Highway 93 in Kalispell. The person was moved to another part of the lot.

The Kalispell Police Department investigated an incident where a teenager was reportedly bitten by a dog. The owner said the dog was current with its shots, but he didn’t have the documentation with him. The person reported that the dog’s owner was not friendly.

Police reported that a man who had just been discharged from the hospital was outside of the emergency room yelling at vehicles that drove past. When told of his most recent warrant, he moved along.

Hospital personnel also reported a man running up and down the hallways screaming at people. He left before police arrived.

A woman reported that another driver cut her off on Idaho Street and then flipped her off. Three juveniles also allegedly made an obscene gesture toward the caller.

Police were called to a bar to deal with a woman who reportedly refused to leave and was trying to pick fights with others.

Someone was cited for driving without a license and running a red light after he said he was confused because all the other lights were blinking.

A man was cited and released to his parents after a store owner reported he had loaded up his backpack with items.

A woman was taken to the hospital after being in a dirt bike accident. She was in and out of consciousness after suffering a head injury while running into a plastic fence.

Someone reported that a woman was getting into dumpsters before she was kicked out. The person said she could hear the woman on the phone saying she was going to get a gun to kill people.

Police reported a fight between a man and a woman. Dispatchers could hear people screaming in the background. The woman said she couldn’t feel her arms and the man had a head injury.

Columbia Falls Police responded to a call of three dogs running at large on Hidden Cedar Loop. Police told the owner she needed to keep her dogs on her property or a citation would be issued.

Someone on Middle Road in Columbia Falls reported that a male and a female were shouting profantities at each other while they were building a house. The person said this behavior was repotedly normal, but would like them to quiet down.

A person called to report someone driving erratically after getting gas in Columbia Falls. The person was driving either a silver mini van or SUV on Trap Road.

Someone reported a person driving a beige truck with an extended cab was tailgating her from Glacier County to West Glacier. She said the driver nearly rear-ended her vehicle.

Police investigated a report about a suspicious man, who claimed he was with DirectTV, who was asking for credit card information. The person believed the man is scamming people.

Someone reported three kids playing on 4th Street. Police told the kids to not play in the street.
