Isabelle Johnston Pasquale

Isabelle Pasquale, 78, passed away peacefully while in the tender care of hospice nurses at Heritage Place in Kalispell on Thursday, Oct. 27, 2004.

She was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Nov. 27, 1926 to Frances and Thomas Johnston shortly after they arrived from Ireland, she graduated from Temple University in 1948, where she was a championship swimmer. She married George James Pasquale in 1949, her beloved husband, who preceded her in death in 1991. In 1962, she became a physical education teacher at South Philadelphia High School, where she remained until her retirement in the late 1980s. She was a well-read woman of exceptional taste, a great storyteller, and possessed a terrific sense of humor. She was gracious and considerate to all around her, and known for her warm hospitality.

She is survived by her two daughters and their families; Sandra Pasquale Nogal and her husband Stephen [who own a business in Whitefish] from Kalispell; Linda Pasquale Crum and her husband Jim of Houston, Texas, and their sons Buck, Andy, and Jake.
