Johnston, Griffin, Shaw medalists at Libby golf

LIBBY — Libby’s Ryggs Johnston shot a 70 on Friday to take medalist honors at the Cabinet View Invitational golf tournament.

Johnston finished five shots ahead of Trey Kelley of Polson and Zach Taylor of Hamilton, who tied for second. Alana Griffin of the Glacier JV and Ella Shaw of Whitefish tied for top honors for the girls. Both shot 80.

The Whitefish girls and Hamilton boys won team titles.
