A dog may have prevented an recent incident from becoming much more. According to a report from the Kalispell Police Department, a caller said someone kicked in his front door while he was sitting on the couch. But the suspect ran when he heard the person’s dog. A shed on the property was also broken into, but nothing was stolen. The man was described as about 25 years old, 6 feet, 190 pounds, with fair skin and dark hair. He may have been wearing a black shirt and blue jeans.

Sunday night’s storm apparently caused more problems than just internet and TV connections. A local business reported the wind set off its alarm.

A man called to report he received threats on social media from his ex-girlfriend’s mother that she would file charges because he was unable to pay back $60 that his ex had loaned him. The man said he knows she can’t do that because the ex-girlfriend told him she loved him.
