Diana Neville Knowles is offering her first portrait painting workshop of the autumn season at Hobby Lobby in Kalispell.

The workshop will take place each Saturday in October from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Students who are 15 years old and older are welcome. Limited space is available, so a deposit is requested to hold a spot. The classroom is spacious and well-lit for the comfort and ease of both students and the instructor.

Students new to the portrait workshops will be supplied with all necessary materials, included in the fee for the class. New students need only bring themselves and a good resolution photo of the subject they want as their portrait.

Knowles’ teaching technique provides the ability to create perfectly drawn likenesses, flesh tones and accurate expressions. She guarantees completion of a 16-inch-by-20-inch pure-pigment pastel head study, a single-figure head and shoulders without hands detailed.

For more information or to reserve a spot for the workshop series, call Knowles at 406-871-2770. To see examples of Knowles’ work, visit http://www.diananeville.com.
