SOFTBALL: Corvallis tops Columbia Falls, Whitefish

COLUMBIA FALLS — Corvallis tallied two runs in the top of the sixth to tie it at 2-all, then scored four times in the seventh to claim a 6-3 Class A nonconfernce softball victoryh Saturday over Columbia Falls.

Columbia Falls answered with a run in the bottom half of the sixth for a brief 3-2 edge.

Ashlyn Nixon doubled and tripled for Corvallis.

Kaylee Ashe homered for Columbia Falls.
